Which way is the qibla in the UK?
From anywhere in the United Kingdom the qibla is south-east, between about 115° and 125° clockwise from true north. From London it is 119°, Birmingham 118°, Manchester 118.5° and Glasgow 118°; the Kaaba is roughly 4,800–5,300 km away. The line follows the shortest path over the globe (great circle), which is why it is not the same as the straight line on a flat map.
